The annual bike swap is back and coming soon Sat May 7 (9 am-12 pm) at Middlebury’s Cannon Park near Frog Hollow Bikes (FHB) rain or shine! Find the perfect new-to-you bike, sell that old bike that’s been taking up space in your garage all these years, or better yet, do both.

It’s called a “bike swap” in the sense that people turn in bikes they no longer want to “swap” and buy a different used or new bike, but you can just sell or buy a bike at the swap.

From kid’s bikes to road bikes, full suspension bikes, maybe even fat tire or e-bikes, it’s all here waiting for you. Our staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and guide you to the bike best suited for you. The swap is hosted by Frog Hollow Bikes and Middlebury Safe Routes with support from the Town of Middlebury. Drop off bikes and gear for the swap at Frog Hollow Bikes before noon May 6 and indicate if you want sale proceeds to go to you or be donated to Middlebury Safe Routes. A small percentage goes to Frog Hollow Bikes.

Frog Hollow Bikes is open Mon-Fri 10 am – 5 pm and Sat 10am – 4pm for you to drop off used bikes for consignment sale or to buy new or used bikes and to service and assemble bikes. Remember to record your newly acquired bike’s make, color, and any other identifying features in case it is missing to report to police and secure it with a good lock.

Sellers- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

To sell a bike you should bring your bike to Frog Hollow Bikes 10am-5pm (normal shop hours) from Monday, May, 2nd till Friday, May 6th. Staff will be available to assist in helping you set prices and check your items in. All bikes must be in rideable condition.

Sellers should pick up their cash from sales or unsold bikes by 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 14th. Any un-sold bikes that are not picked up by Saturday May 14th will be donated.
